The New England Patriots have secured a place in a record 12th Super Bowl and will face the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on February 8.
Second-year quarterback Drake Maye guided the Patriots to a 10-7 victory over the Denver Broncos in Sunday’s AFC Championship game, six years after the conclusion of Tom Brady’s era, during which the franchise won six Super Bowls.
Seattle booked their place later on Sunday with a 31-27 win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game. Quarterback Sam Darnold, now on his fifth team in eight NFL seasons, will feature in his first Super Bowl.
This will be the first Super Bowl in four years not to feature the Kansas City Chiefs. The reigning back-to-back champions saw their attempt at an unprecedented third consecutive title ended by the Philadelphia Eagles last season.

Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 68,500-capacity venue has been home to the San Francisco 49ers since 2014 and can expand to around 75,000 seats for major events. Levi’s Stadium will also host matches during the 2026 Fifa World Cup.
UK viewers can watch the game free-to-air on Channel 5, with coverage also available on Sky Sports.
In the US, fans will be able to watch the Super Bowl on NBC and Peacock. The match will start at 6:30pm ET, and 3:30pm ET.
Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap artist Bad Bunny will headline the half-time show. He will become the first Latino and Spanish-speaking artist to perform solo in that role.
His selection has drawn criticism after he opted not to perform in the United States during his 2025 world tour, citing concerns over Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids.

Singer-songwriter and producer Charlie Puth will perform the US national anthem. The American rock band Green Day are also scheduled to appear during the opening ceremony.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was named MVP after throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns, as Philadelphia claimed their second Super Bowl title.
