Liverpool were impressive winners in Marseille in the Champions League in midweek but it remains to be seen if they can back that up at Bournemouth this evening.

The Merseysiders have underwhelmed in their attempts to defend the Premier League crown they won so impressively last season and currently sit 14 points behind leaders Arsenal.

They are unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions but that run includes six draws, including last Saturday’s disappointing stalemate with Burnley at Anfield.

Bournemouth were unfortunate not to win at Brighton on Monday night but Andoni Iraola’s 15th-placed side have also failed to match expectations this term.
