Sacha Tavolieri reported that fresh talks took place last week between Chelsea’s management and the player’s camp, with the Sunderland midfielder still well positioned on the club’s shortlist after first being highlighted in December. ESPN had already reported in December that Chelsea were accelerating efforts to sign Sadiki, alongside interest from Manchester United, after his strong start to life in England.
